The glass screw thread may not come out because it is likely glued or sealed in place to prevent it from unscrewing accidentally. Additionally, the thread may be designed to be permanent and not intended to be removed. If you are trying to remove the glass screw thread, it is important to use caution and follow the manufacturer's instructions to avoid damaging the thread or the surrounding material. **

Canning with screw-top jars involves filling the jars with prepared food, sealing them with a two-piece lid that includes a flat metal disc and a threaded ring, and then processing the jars in a boiling water bath or pressure canner. As the jars are heated during processing, the air inside them expands and escapes through the lid. When the jars cool down, a vacuum is created, pulling the lid down and forming a tight seal. This seal prevents air and microorganisms from entering the jar, allowing the food inside to be preserved safely for an extended period. **

Next, place the screws through the pre-drilled holes and into the table base, using a screwdriver or drill to tighten them securely. Be careful not to overtighten the screws, as this could damage the wood. **
