The song "Layla" by Derek and the Dominos is often criticized for its portrayal of women as objects of desire and for its lyrics that seem to glorify possessiveness and obsession. The lyrics depict a man's longing for a woman who is out of his reach, and some argue that this perpetuates harmful stereotypes about women and relationships. However, others argue that the song is a reflection of the artist's personal experiences and emotions, and should be interpreted in that context. Ultimately, whether the song is considered sexist or not is subjective and open to interpretation. **

Additionally, Layla's presence could potentially lead to further tensions and conflicts between the two tribes, which is why she was forbidden from being with the protagonist. **

One song that fits this description is "Layla" by Eric Clapton. The chorus of the song features the repeated lyrics "Layla, you got me on my knees, Layla, I'm begging, darling please." The song was originally released in 1970 and has become a classic rock anthem. The woman singing "Layla" in the chorus is actually the subject of the song, rather than the singer. **
