Star Trek Online does not save combat logs because the developers have chosen not to implement this feature in the game. Saving combat logs can potentially lead to performance issues and increase server load, especially in a massively multiplayer online game like Star Trek Online. Additionally, combat logs can be used for analyzing and optimizing gameplay, which may not align with the game's design philosophy of focusing on immersive storytelling and exploration rather than min-maxing combat mechanics. **
